Chia Yun

Chia Yun graduated from the University of Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours in Child and Family Psychology in 2020. She has four years of experience teaching nursery-aged children, where she supported their early learning and development through structured activities and a nurturing classroom environment.

During her university years, Chia Yun actively participated in volunteer work. For two years, she volunteered on weekends at the Children’s Cancer Ward at Sabah Women and Children Hospital, supporting children with leukemia aged 18 months to 12 years old. She provided emotional support, taught basic learning content to children who were unable to attend school, and helped organize meaningful activities such as birthday celebrations to bring joy and comfort to the children.

She also volunteered in Dharma Sunday children’s classes and assisted in organizing Dharma youth camps, where she helped plan activities that promoted positive values and personal growth among children and youth.

Chia Yun believes that every child is unique and deserves a supportive environment to learn and grow. She is passionate about helping children build confidence and develop their potential through encouragement and meaningful learning experiences.
