Hasyimah (OT)

Hasyimah is an occupational therapist who graduated from the Singapore Institute of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (with Honours). As part of her training, she gained experience in a variety of clinical settings, working in hospitals and the community.

 

For the past 5 years, Hasyimah has worked with children in special education schools and private practice. She has worked with children with various conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delay (GDD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), and various other disabilities, often with multiple comorbidities.

She has built up expertise in paediatric clinical care assessing & conducting interventions for handwriting difficulties, sensory processing needs, social skills, upper limb rehabilitation and specialised seating. She is also a certified supervisor for new therapists registering with AHPC.
