He was initially confused and discouraged in Primary 1 because he could not cope with the difference in expectations as well as his own sensory and communication issues. Not willing to rest on their laurels, Alex and his team continually upgrade their skills and impart them to parents and also in their approach to managing special needs children. Alex worked with my son for almost two years, at home and in school. It is a pleasure having Alex around. He is always cheerful and patient when it comes to teaching my son. His feedback after each session is very useful as well, teaching me how to manage my child. He shadowed my son in school with another therapist for 3 times a week, and after half year of shadowing, my son can manage on his own in childcare. However, I let them continue with the shadowing to work on social skills. Though my son no longer needs shadowing now, I still keep in contact with Alex, for he is such a wonderful therapist and also a wonderful friend.

Our child started at Nurture Pods over a year ago and the difference in his ability to read, write, comprehension and application of maths, etc has been dramatic. Even his school teachers have commented on this. However, this is not the best part! This improvement has given my child an immense confidence boost that helps him in pushing himself a little further in every new task he takes on.
