Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) was developed by Dr. Ivar Lovaas using principles of discrete trial training (DTT) (Duker, Didden, & Sigafoos, 2004).

The intervention program is scheduled to help the child develop higher skill sets through behavioral procedures that incorporate behavior modification, training and education (Sturmey & Fitzer, 2007).

Intervention plan will be constructed for individual child and procedures that strengthen desired behaviors and/or decrease undesirable behaviors will be used. Specifically, behaviors that interfere with normal developmental processes will be identified and modified in such a way so as to improve the child’s functional capacity.
